After the huge success of 'Seinfeld', series co-creator Larry David continues to bring you an insight into his life in the award winning 'Curb your Enthusiasm'.

A series that just gets better and better with every season, the fourth run of the show sees Larry head to Broadway. What makes 'Curb…' such a good show is its realism. This comes from the fact that show is improvised as the cast follow a story premise devised by Larry David. This makes the comedy very natural as the programme is shot without a script as the performers respond an outline of a scene to provide a comedy show that is fresh and extremely inventive.

A cross between fictional and real-life situations, we follow Larry's life as he gets into one hapless situation after another. As he interacts with his family, friends and celebrities, we see the world from Larry's point of view as the New Yorker tries to fit in with his new Los Angeles life style. It is this that makes the series such as success and so funny. As we see the hilarious events unfold before us, you can't help thinking that most of the time that Larry is right in what he says or does and this is what makes the show so funny.

Now in its fourth season, 'Curb your Enthusiasm' has established the characters the main character but they continue to evolve with every show. Larry's best friend and agent Jeff Greene, played by the brilliant Jeff Garlin, is still living in fear of his wife Susie (played wonderfully by Susie Essman) but is always there to offer Larry advice, most of which ends up getting Larry in trouble. Cheryl Hines is also excellent as Cheryl David, Larry's long-suffering wife. She lives with the threat of complete embarrassment every single day, sometimes you wander what she is doing with Larry but they have a connection that makes her tolerate his many problems and the situations he gets into. The series also has many reoccurring characters that pop up every season including great performances from Wanda Sykes, Richard Lewis, Ted Danson and Antoinette Spolar.

Each season of 'Curb your Enthusiasm' has a theme and this season is no different. This one revolves around Larry inadvertently getting the role of Max Bialystock in the Broadway production of Mel Brook's hit musical 'The Producers'. After Mel Brooks witnessed his performance at a karaoke bar, he is offered the part and the high jinx start from there. First he upsets his first co-star Ben Stiller, then alienates his friend's family at a testimonial, tries to set up his blind friend, comes up with an ingenious method of going to a LA Dodgers baseball game and then he insults his new co-star David Schwimmer's father. Each episode contains many a cringe-worthy moment as Larry's life becomes more and more filled with mishaps and bad situations.

'Curb your Enthusiasm' is American comedy at its very best. With no enforced laughter track, this is intelligent comedy of the highest order that will have you laughing throughout. Fresh, inventive and like nothing else on TV, this season again proves that Larry David is the king of comedy.
