"You're the one that I want"

Danny (Travolta) and Sandy (Newton John) fell in love over the summer but when she transfers to Rydell High they struggle to keep that same feeling. Danny is the leader of the T-Birds and has a reputation to keep, especially when they have to hang out with the most popular girls in school, the Pink Ladies. As Sandy struggles to fit in with the 'cool' scene, Danny has to worry about rival gang the Scorpions before he can get the girl of his dreams back.

The most loved musical ever has finally received a special edition DVD. Yes, Grease fans the Grease ultimate edition DVD is here and this time we get to sing along with all our favourite songs.

The Ultimate Sing-Along Special Edition DVD is sure to please fans as it features many spectacular special features. These include interviews with the cast and crew during the 'Grease Day USA', eleven deleted/extended scenes, a making of featurette and original movie trailers. There is also a really good commentary from the director Randal Kleiser and dance choreographer Patricia Birch. The movie was digitally remastered before being put onto DVD and so the picture quality is a lot better than when it was first released on video or at the cinemas. The best feature however is the Rydell High Sing-Along feature that allows you sing-along to Summer Nights, Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee, Hopelessly Devoted to You, Greased Lightning, Beauty School Drop Out, Born to Hand Jive, Sandy, There are Worse Things I Could Do, You're the One that I Want and We Go Together. This is really fun and one that all Grease fans will love.

Grease originally debuted in 1978 and made more than US$340, 000, 000 holding the record (which still stands today) of being the biggest grossing movie musical. For those of you who have not seen the movie Grease is a classic musical suitable for the whole family. Its plot revolves around the classic boy meets girl. Sandy (Newton - John) and Danny (Travolta) met at the beach during their summer break. Sandy tells Danny that she will be moving back to Australia after the break but unexpectedly stays in America and goes to Danny's school Rydell High. The two finally meet up again and try to rekindle their love for one another.

I personally think that Grease is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The choreography, the songs, the acting, the singing are all fantastic! No matter how many times I watch it, I never get sick of it. My favourite scene has to be the dance contest, just watch all the hard work that has gone into this short scene. Cinematically this scene is also brilliantly shot. In fact cinematically the whole movie is a show stopper. I can defiantly see why audiences worldwide can't get enough!
