Ever since the glory days of the 70s, The Man has been trying to put down black culture. Fighting to keep this alive is The B.R.O.T.H.E.R.H.O.O.D, but they are losing the battle and desperately need a fresh approach. Enter Undercover Brother (Griffin), the superfly fighter for justice and just was the organisation needs to fight The Man.

Based on the hit Internet cartoon, Undercover Brother so wants to be the new Austin Powers but it fails miserably.

Parodying the blaxploitation of the 70s, the movie misses with nearly every gag it throws at you. It is just not funny. Eddie Griffin does his best to inject some cool into the character but the limited script and the appalling supporting cast to nothing to help the star stimulate your funny bone.

Dave Chappelle as Conspiracy Brother and Chris Kattan as Mr Feather have to two of the most annoying characters to grace the screen in a very long time. They are both cringingly bad. We all know Dennis Richards cannot act but in this movie she plays to her best attributes, her looks and she does this well. Just don't give her any dialogue and she is fine.

Managing to only ever raise a smile at the most, Undercover Brother is parody at the same standard as the Scary Movie films, so you know how low that is. The funniest thing however, is that movie is produced by Oscar winner Brian Grazer who bought us A Beautiful Mind, 8 Mile and Apollo 13. A bet this is at the top of his résumé!
