Christina (Diaz) and Courtney (Applegate) had been playing the single scene for most of their adult lives. Niether of them wanted to commit and they both saw men as just things to have a good time with. This all changed the night they took their recently dumped friend Jane (Blair) out clubbing and Christina met Peter (Jane). Even though they had only spend about ten minutes together, Christina couldn't get him out of her mind, so she and Courtney decided to make a surprise visit to a family wedding he said he was going to that weekend but nothing is what it seems when you are trying to find love.

Watching this film I felt sorry for Cameron Diaz. Her first movie as the top-billing actress and this is what she ends up in. I think her agent needs to be sacked.

This movie is embarrassingly awful. It has irrelevant song and dance numbers (one of them about a certain part of the male anatomy), a 80s "all I need is a man to be happy" plot and very basic gross-out comedy moments that only seem to be added as a sign of complete desperation.

Yes, Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate and Selma Blair are exceptionally attractive women but this movie is not targeted at twelve-year-old boys, who would be more than happy just to gawk at them for eighty-eight minutes. The characters are un-involving and self-serving but do nothing to endear themselves to you, besides from being beautiful.

This is the kind of the movie that makes you wonder if monkeys work for the major studios because they would be the only ones who would have greenlit this garbage and that is insulting to monkeys.
