Eccentric billionaire Donald Sinclair (Cleese) has devised the ultimate race. $2 million has been placed in a locker at the train station in Silver City, New Mexico and six contestants has been chosen at random for his casino in Las Vegas. The rules are simple; the first one there gets the money.

In a throw back to the Cannonball Run movies, this is an attempt to bring together an all-star cast to make a zany madcap movie and it kind of works, in parts anyway. Coming from the director of the classic 80s comedies Airplane, Top Secret and Ruthless People you might has expected more madcap humour but what you get is amusing enough.

Certain parts are just plain annoying however, Rowan Atkinson is just a more talkative Mr Bean and the Lucile Balls will really start to get on your nerves. It does have its saving graces though. John Cleese and his collection of millionaire friends who will bet on anything are extremely entertaining and Seth Green shows is not just Scott Evil from Austin Powers or Oz from Buffy but a good comedy actor.

There hasn't been a really good all-out comedy movie released since American Pie 2 and this is not a movie that will stick in the memory for very long but it does provide a few laughs.
