Austin Powers (Myers) has finally captured his arch nemesis Dr. Evil (Myers). He receives a Knighthood from the Queen and even has a movie made of his adventures but life is never easy for an international man of mystery. Basil Exposition (York) informs him that his father Nigel Powers (Caine) has been kidnapped my a new criminal mastermind called Goldmember (Myers) and the only person who can help Austin rescue him is the man he has just put behind bars, Dr. Evil.

Yeah Baby, Austin Powers is back and his fans can rejoice as he is as groovy as ever. His third outing is as outrageous and as over the top as his second adventure and moves the story on in what could be Austin's final adventure. (The film certainly makes you think it might be)

Mike Myers proves again that he is one of the most talented comedians in movies at the moment. Playing four different characters this time, Dr. Evil, Fat Bastard, Goldmember and Austin himself, each one is a very unique personality, which is testament to Myers' comedic skill. Dr. Evil is still his strongest characterisation and, as he did in the two previous movies, steals the film. Fast Bastard and Austin are really just more of the same and new character Goldmember is very under used, which is strange been as he is the title character.

The supporting cast is as good as ever, with Verne Troyer and Seth Green really shining as Mini-Me and Scott Evil. Beyonce Knowles is extremely beautiful and sexy as Foxxy Cleopatra and makes an impressive screen debut. Michael Caine is inspired casting as Nigel Powers and the scene where he and Austin speak 'proper English' is hysterical.

You will not believe the amount of big name cameos in this movie. The opening sequence alone is a cornucopia of Hollywood stars and the rest of the movie is littered with people celebrities that just want to be part of the Austin Powers experience.

With all this fun, it is hard to find any negative points. I would have liked to have seen more of Robert Wagner as Number Two and Michael York as Basil Exposition and some of the jokes where very reminiscent of the second movie, but they do acknowledge this in a very funny way.

If you are a fan of the first two movies, you are in for a treat and for those of you who are new to the franchise, rent the previous one and enjoy because it's groovy Baby, Yeah.
