Jerry (Pitt) has one more job to do for the local mobster, before this times is served to them. All he has to do is go to Mexico and pick up an extremely valuable 17th century pistol called the Mexican and return it to his boss. The problem is that things never good as planned for Jerry, and as mishap follows mishap, he loses the pistol. Taking this as a sign that Jerry has ran off with the gun, his employers send Leroy (Gandolfini) to get some insurance against Jerry selling it on, his ex-girlfriend Samantha (Roberts)

This is a genuinely likable movie that keeps you interested, mainly because of the sheer screen presence of the three main actors. We all know that both Pitt and Roberts are good actors, but it is James Gandolfini, from TVs 'The Soprano's' that really steals the show and proves what good actor he really is. The problem is really with the script; it really lacks the bite or coolness of movies such as Out of Sight or Get Shorty, which is a real shame as the ensemble cast give it their collective all to try and make it more than it actually is, just an OK movie.
