Sent over from China to help capture a known Triad leader, cop Liu Jiuan (Li) is made the patsy for a murder by corrupt French commissionaire Richard. His only hope of proving his innocence is a videocassette of the crime and a drug-addicted hooker (Fonda).

Jet Li is second only to Jackie Chan as Hong Kong's biggest star. After Lethal Weapon 4 and Romeo Must Die, Li is back for another crack at the US box office, in a movie he wrote himself and that is produced by famed French director Luc Besson (Leon and The Fifth Element). The problem is it isn't anything new. It feels like you are watching a late 80s, early 90s Van Damme/Segal movie. You know the ones I mean, loads of great fight sequences and a really dire plot. This is the problem, as Jet Li is extremely good at action, probably the best of his generation but until he gets a decent script to work with, he'll never make it big. He turned down Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and The Matrix sequels to be in Romeo Must Die and this movie and I hope it's a decision he doesn't live to regret.

Audio commentary from Jet Li, Bridget Fonda and director Chris Nahon, 'Corey Yuen Action Academy' featurette, 'The Jet Li Technique/Fight Philosophy' featurette, Martial arts demonstration, Storyboard sequence, 'The Laundry Shoot': Multi-angle sequence, 'On The Set' featurette, 'Making Of' featurette, TV Spots, 'Action Moves' gallery, Theatrical trailer, Dolby Digital (5.1), Interactive menu & Scene access
