CROCODILE DUNDEE IN LOS ANGELES

Starring: Paul Hogan, Linda Kozlowski and Jere Burns

Director: Simon Wincer

Running Time: 95 mins

When Sue Charleston (Kozlowski) receives a phone call from her Father, asking her to take over the LA division of his newspaper after the sudden death of it’s editor and chief, Sue takes her son and boy friend with her. The question is, is the City of Angels ready for Michael J ‘Crocodile’ Dundee.

It’s been twelve years since we last heard from Mick Dundee and on his evidence nothing much has changed in his life. He is still hunting crocodiles in the outback, but he now has a son. The problem the movie does not really move the character on at all. He is still the fish out of water that does not understand America, which worked for the first two movies but it is hard to believe that he hasn’t changed in 12 years. This just makes it a rehash trying to recapture pass glories and failing, only to produce a decidingly average movie.
