A small farming village just north of New York is gripped in fear, a Headless Horsemen has returned from the grave and started killing again. New York City Police constable Ichabod Crane ( Depp) is sent to investigate these gruesome murders.

This is Tim Burton’s first film since "Mars Attack" and is a complete return to form. This a gripping, bloody and visually stunning telling of the story of the classic tale by Washington Irvine, with great performances from Depp and an ever blossoming Christina Ricci. The support cast consisting of Batman's Michael Gough (Alfred), Star Wars's Ian McDiarmid (The Emperor) and Ray Park (Darth Maul), Michael Gabon and Miranda Richardson bring the community of Sleepy Hollow to life. But it is Tim Burton's majestic visual flare that sucks you into this film and refuses to let you go right until the end.
