SHANGHAI NOON

Director: Tom Dey

Running Time: 106 mins

When Princess Pei Pei (Lucy Liu) is kidnapped from the Forbidden City, Imperial guard Chon Wang (Jackie Chan) is sent to the wild west of America to rescue her. Chon is helped, to some extent, by the worst cowboy in the west, Roy O’Bannon (Owen Wilson) as they fight their way along the trial of the missing Princess.

This is Jackie at his chop socky and comedy best, ably assisted by Wilson who lights up the screen with great comic timing and a natural onscreen partnership. Fantastic action, great laughs and the beautiful Lucy Liu make this one of the most enjoyable movies of last summer. Don’t miss it.
