Greg (Stiller) really wants to marry Pam (Polo). They have been seeing each other for over ten months now and he thinks she is definitely the one. Before he can pop the question is has one little obstacle to get past, meeting her parents.

This was the best comedy of 2000. Austin Powers's director Jay Roach brings this farcical comedy to life, with Robert De Niro stealing the entire show. As he showed with his previous comedy hit, Analysis This, De Niro is the consummate actor, projecting his skills into any genre he chooses. His Jack Byrnes character is every man's complete nightmare of a future father-in-law and every male will emphasize with what Ben Stiller's character has to go through. This is what makes the comedy so good and the situations that Greg gets into are so funny. We all set out with only the best intentions of what you think the meeting is going to bring but they never go to plan. Yes this is taken to the extreme, but there is something that will make every man wince at Greg's predicament.
